Making Chocolate the Traditional Jamaican Way
In this video, learn how to make authentic Jamaican cocoa from scratch. I’ll take you through the steps of roasting cocoa beans, grinding them, and creating a rich, flavorful chocolate drink. Perfect for anyone who loves traditional Jamaican recipes and wants to enjoy the taste of real Jamaican chocolate
CHOCOLATE TEA INGREDIENTS LIST
Grated Jamaican chocolate: About 1 cup (this is for making 4 cups of chocolate tea).
Water: 3 cups (In the video I said 2 which is incorrect)
Whole milk: 1 cup.
Cinnamon sticks: 2 sticks (fresh cinnamon leaves can also be used as a preferred alternative).
Nutmeg: A small amount, freshly grated (the exact quantity can be adjusted to taste).
Vanilla: About 2 tablespoons.
Salt: 1/2 teaspoon.
Condensed milk: To taste (this not only sweetens the tea but also adds richness).
These quantities are intended to create a well-balanced, rich, and flavorful Jamaican chocolate tea.

There's a group called ARC: Alliance Of Rural Communities in Trinidad & Tobago that's involved in the decolonization of cocoa in T&T. I wonder if there are any such groups in JA or if there would be a way to start a JA chapter of ARC. Thanks to content like this, people can be reminded that we have fine crops here, producing some of the best beans and products in the world.

You should make chocolate for tourists, Western people love chocolate. Make a big chunky quality Jamaican bar (no child slave labour) for 20 USD they will buy it on holiday. I would buy it on holiday!

Chances are Coco originated in Africa, but the racism of the Europeans tells us they brought it over from South America and invented Chocolate. I tend not to believe anything they say. You know why, these people aren't bringing anything to Africa, they only know how to take. Also, Africa was trading across the Atlantic well before the Europeans came with their savage ways and forces millions into slavery.
